Colorado...
Colorado isn't a very lush state compared to florida. I currently live in Co, but I'm finding that if you want to go collecting, this is a great state to be in. I really enjoy trips up to the mountains to go hiking and tree spotting. You have to get a permit of course to nab a little tree (most places). Perhaps because I'm young I like the adventure of finding a wild tree yourself. Regardless of it's artsy quality.
