this is a Ceiba Pentandra en Ponce Puerto Rico. It is more than 500 years old, what means before Christopher Colombus got here it was old already. It ia vwry meaningfull for us who live near it in Page Ranking

Pic 1: California Live Oak that has split a 7x10 foot granite boulder
Pic 2: Giant Sequoia called the Grizzly Giant from the mariposa Grove, the
large branch on the lower right is 7 1/2 feet in diameter
pic 3: Twist around tree...a formal upright Conifer with a California Live Oak
twisting all around it.

During the summer I work as a wilderness guide in Yosemite National Park. Here are some photos of trees that delighted me during my seven days in the high country. These include: Sierra or Western Juniper (Juniperus occidentalis), White Pine (Pinus monticola) and White Bark Pine (Pinus albicaulis).
