Do a search on "superfeeding" and you will come up with some stuff.
Also, go to Michael Persiano's web site. He is the "inventor" of superfeeding. Here's a direct link to the superfeeding stuff on the site: http://members.aol.com/iasnob/superfeeding.html |

At some point, you become responsible for doing your own research. We've pointed you to some good reference material. Have you located/ordered a copy of the Pines book from Stone Lantern for instance?
I don't believe Persiano's experience has been atypical. Look at the results of his work. |

OK Chef, Here is my two cents. I tried it for two years, both the original program and the amended program on both conifer and deciduous. I was not impressed, it actually hurt my deciduous trees. I will give you what I now have used for the 4 years. This method is the same principal but is a lot less work and for me has been exceptional.
Start out with your normal organic time released cakes, bio gold, Green Dream etc.... If you don't like organic cakes use Osmocote. Alternate weekly feedings with Miracle Grow and fish emulsion as a supplement to the cakes. I also include a dose of Micro Max to supplement the plants need for trace elements. Go here to see the results in about 2 years time using this method. |

Tachigi's experience has also been mine. The program is a bit hyped and you don't have to use name brands. Use alternate water soluable "chemical" ferts every other week, while you also place your choice of "organic" ferts on the soil. I've had success with Bio Gold, but others will work too.
