Shohin Shadows, Preshow

I took some pics today. I tried to be creative. I'm sure I missed the mark somewhat, but I liked the trees in pre summer dress.

All trees are under 9" tall.

First up maple grove, flowering accent. 15 trees, 9" tall, pot:6" across x 1/2" deep.

Trident maple in white glazed Tokonome pot. Formal upright. Trunk is 2 1/4 inches across and 8" tall. Suiseki from Japan.

Verticle Statement. In this scene, Blueberry bush, clump style. Maple accent, in leaf. Accent on stand is clump of Japanese black pine.

I really like the vertical statements. Its very different, and I like it a lot! I especially like what you've done with the japanese maples.
