That larch is awe inspring!
Would it not be even more powerful in a less-formal, more rustic-looking pot?

Pottsie
I think it may be better in a less formal maybe more textured pot though this is a little better then the training pot it was in when I first started working on it, photo one. Photo two is a winter shot of tree notice I removed the spike at buldge, and am considering removing the others.
Vert. Pot suggestions anyone?

Thanks Pootsie
I really like the pot the splash of green is just right it even has the right motion to it. The splash also ties the pot to the top of the tree that seems to shorten this tall tree, I like it.

I have worked on the apex a bit since photographs and it looks similar to your virtual. I have to get a current photograph. I like the reaching left branch long (not shortened like vert) and the since of motion and direction it adds.

Nick L. gave me advice on this trees design and I think it would be proper if I could find a Nick pot that would work. Using your vert. as inspiration I'm sure he could make me one similar.
