Thank You Candy, especially since I found that the memory card was not in my camera when I started to take pictures( dooooooh!).
Kept missing you at the show, every time I stopped to visit with Dale Cochoy, he asked if I found you yet, you had just been around. Next time maybe. This was a good event, lots of names, good demos, and workshops too, a very enjoyable weekend.

Candy, It was good to see you again, and nice to meet McSpeed.
I have a bit of history on two of your photos. #57707 Larch which won MidA best of show ( I think) . I sold that tree to the owner about 15 years ago now. It was only a few years in training then. It has come a long way since then. It was beautiful, and, the owner commissioned me to make a custom pot for it this weekend. #57722 Yew was a tree I collected . It was one of about 20 I collected/supplied to the ABS symposium in Harrisburg, Pa. ( 1992 I think) for a Jerry Meislik workshop. It was one of a few left over which the owner kept. It has been worked on by a few visiting artists I think. I keep seeing some of the extra trees from that batch sent to the convention popping up from time to time. One was styled by Wm. Valavanis and used as TANSU bonsai business logo for several years along with being used for the Erie, Pa. club logo. Several years ago I found one had been sold to Cathy Shaner , and a few years ago I saw one in a ABS symposium Kimura workshop in the Detroit area . The owner had purchased it from the owner of the one in your picture. It's great for me to see these trees still around after all those years. Dale
