Huh? A Virtual As Presentation To The Styling

Hi forum, I have made a virtual suggestion, at his yew for a Bonsai friend from the German forum. He then has tried to convert the Virtual.

A Virtual as presentation to the styling

Picture 5: The result of the styling, I find it excellent. The branch position shouldn't be so steep.
Your opinion on work?
Greetings from Austria, Karl T.

Karl:

Ausgezeichnet!

I agree that the branches should be less steep.

Excellent work! I really like it.

I rather like the asymmetric canopy in your first virtual. Would there be any way to do this on the tree as styled, or is that inappropriate given this choice of front?

Best regards,
Carl

Wink

I have the yew not formed but a German Bonsai friend. I have made only the virtual suggestions. But I probably would have chosen the first suggestion.
Hi OMC, it lasts possibly to transfer the canopy to the yew. But my friend has decided differently.
Greetings, Karl T.

Hi Karl,

My only problem with the steepness is that the angle calls attention to the origin of the branches, which are kind of in the wrong places, and their thin size at this time.

Were it not for this, I don't think the extreme angle of the branches would be a big problem. If you follow the lines back up to the trunk, I think you'll see what I mean.

Regards,

Matt

Excellent virtuals Karl. I like both virtuals that you made. The resultant tree as most have suggested would defintely look better as picture in your virtual. Those branches just look unnatural that steep.

I have to go collecting material like this!!!!!!
