I guess it means, better to start to learn tequnique on 2 dolla tree than start to learn tequnique on 200 dolla tree

Just wanted to throw out a thanks from all us newbies, it's great to see a fully detailed wiring/pruning set of directions to be able to read through. Very informative. I like the reasons you give for why you'd cut off xxx branch & such.
