Most of you will remember the pictures of the mountains where I went to collect sabina junipers.
Here is one that I have collected vour years ago. The picture is of May 2001.

This is very unique material! I don't know if you could change the planting angle this radically?

Hi Walter,

This is fantastic material as usual. I made this virtual for you. It's probably too "japanese" for your taste... :-) I'm very curious what you will do with this tree.

regards, René

Walter,

How about this planted angle and initial foliage reduction before wiring. I won't attempt virtual foliage. Thanks for letting us play. It will be very interesting to see where you will go with this great piece of material.

Thanks Again,

David

It is unique material.

My 2˘

I don't exactly know how to word this.

There's something about Juniperus sabina foliage that lacks something when it's a bonsai and I don't know what it is. The branches and foliage kind of droop or something.

Supposedly the Shimpaku juniper is a
cross of sabina and chinensis.

This one certainly has a beautiful trunk and so forth. I just don't know.
