So many options when you have great material. So far every virtual I have seen of this tree are great. Love have options.

Not bad at all - put personally I think that the transition zone from massive base to single leader is too abrupt and so the tree seems out of proportion. I think you need some foliage there to help out. Just my 2 cents. I'll may try another virtual for this one when I get a chance; the previous image was just one of the ideas that came to mind.

Ya, I saw that too, but I thought the left deadwood could trick the minds eye into seeing the taper. Is this a no-no?

I'd lower the canopy, myself.

Rather than seeing a taper, I see a sucker coming out of a big stump.

Yup it does look better lowered. Sucker? young shoot coming from the base of the plant? I know what your saying tho.....
