Chaenomeles "Texas Scarlet"

I've had this flowering quince for about 12 years. It started as a cutting given away at our bonsai club meeting. As with all plants in my yard it eventially had cuttings made from it. Two years ago the original plant and a cutting were planted together (picture 1). Last week I had freed up this cascade pot and always wanted to make a cascade quince after seeing some pictures on the forum, so the result is (picture 2).

Since this is a rough work in progress I played with PhotoShop and came up with the last look (picture 3). The dropping branch may need to come closer to the pot?

I don't want to trim/prune again until after spring bloom.

Comments?
