Faux auction?

Andy,
How 'bout putting your tree up for a faux auction here on the forum? Here's one that OMC started a while back, just in case you've not seen it. http://forum.bonsaitalk.com/showthr...=&threadid=2921

It'd be interesting to watch the actual auction on ebay after everyone here has given their top "bid".

Sorry, it's already up on Ebay. I gotta sell it and can't wait for the preamble. Times is tough, ya know.

Kind regards,
Andy

Thanks, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. The price is already pretty darn high. ;-)

The link is http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...item=2314334079 (posted here only by request - I don't want to get into trouble!). ;-)

Kind regards,
Andy

p.s. Hope you like the special Ebay super-duper promo description of the tree. ;-)

WHOA! You’re going to be raking in the cash on this one! Seriously though if I didn't prefer literati pines I would pay that much gladly.

Well, it has to sell before I get loads of cash. ;-) The price is high, but I value the tree greatly and... well, a man can dream, can't he?

Kind regards,
Andy

Andy,

I really like this pine, I wish I had the recources to buy it.
I definetely don't think this will be an average pine. I NEVER get tired of a classic moyogi style pine, especially one done this well. I think you have made a great improvement with a reletively small amount of change, which is perhaps one of the defining features of a great bonsai artist, the knack for detail.
When looking at the demensions of this tree, you had me fooled, it is much smaller that I thought it was (which is a good thing).

Thanks for taking us along for the ride, I hope you get twice the price you ask, I wish I could buy it myself.

Brett

Andy,
Are you planning on auctioning off that Broom Style Elm recently rennovated?
That tree's one of my favorite trees posted in a long time.
