And here´s the pine in April 2001 standing in the rock; i could put out the tree with enough roots and the tree grows well!

Re: Austrian black pine #3

Hi Wolfgang,

I am a beginner at bonsai and this is one of my first virtuals so don't look to close... I see a sumo-style in your tree, if you could bent the left branch to the front and develop the pads. What do you think ??

greetings, René

Re: Austrian black pine #3

Wolfgang,

Please tell me this is not how the tree appeared on the day of collection Feel free to lie, if necessary, or I will give up bonsai entirely and just come to Austria to walk in the woods! Also please assure me that those fuzzy out of focus objects in the background are turnips and not more of the same!
