bonsai-girl,

sure it is true. I will be one of the headliners at the Australian National Convention in Canberra from April 2 to 5.

bonsai-girl,

this probably works very well for you. If this wer my motto, my tree critiques would be very quiet. A professional tree critique has to mention everything that is not nice. Maybe in a nice way. Most amateur's trees have major flaws without the owner even realizing. So you are not supposed to tell them?

best regards

A lot of us are looking forward to it. I just finished a write up about Walter and the convention in our clubs newsletter. The convention is from the 2nd - 5th April in Canberra. Cost is AU$155 before Feb 7th and AU$185 afterwards. Workshops on Monday.

Walter, the quote is really about life in general not so much to do with bonsai! i just believe that the nice things or the good points of things should be said first before the person rips into the other with their judgements. :0) which im sure you do when you judge a tree! give both the good and the bad points about it. As for MY tree's well they are definately bad tree's but i am learning and i guess everyone has to start somewhere. But yes i would of course expect you to tell me how terrible they are. *grin*

Walter,
Having had the privilege of seeing your wonderful trees on this forum and having read your critical wisdom, I will hapily endure the walking dead that reside in Canberra for 4 days so can see you at the convention. Roll on Autumn.
