Juniper Styling

hi walter
i would greatly appritiate you casting your eye over this juniper .it has been growing in the ground for the past 2 years and i potted it into a large pot and styled it this season i was hoping to repot into a proper bonsai pot in spring i dont have any clubs or contacts in my area so i would be really gratefull of some constructive critasism please dont hold back .what do you think of the ..branch placement,trunk shape anything else you can think of thanks in advance

Craig,

your juniper has a bit too many branches all over the place. I think you could get rid of some at the lower part and lower the apex a bit. This wold result in what I show here.
You can also lower the apex considerably and make a much smaller tree. But that would mean to start all over again. Another option is to get rid of most branches and only leave three on the very top and thus creating a literati tree. But I think the option that I chose should be the most normal and pleasing.

thankyou for taking the time .your plan imidiatly gives it some style and dirrection . as opposed to the confused feeling i used to get when looking at this tree i can now picture it it being a proper bonsai [one day]

beutiful pot as well
