Show This Year Anyone?

Why does this keep turning into a contest? It is only a show, and there are no winners or losers.

I am looking forward to the thought of doing it. I would love to spend time trying present my mediocre trees, in a way that might help make them look... not-so-mediocre.
An OK tree with a great display, is still quite pleasing to look at, and I think all of us could use the motivation to present our trees in their tuxedos, with their teeth brushed and hair combed.

After all, don't they deserve it?

PS I'll be painting my own scrolls and making the entire display myself, except the stand...hmmm, maybe I need to get working on that contest tree.
