New Mini Bonsai

hello im new here .. i just bought a mini bonsai .. and to my understanding it is a froce to be reconed with when it comes to keeping the little bastard alive ? hahaha well i was just wondering if anyone here could give me any helpfull hints and tips on how to keep it alive as long as possible now my first concern is that i was informed that the root system is very delicate especially during the first couple years of growth .... the tree was shipped with little rocks glued to the top of the soil that i am suposed to leave in there.... i dont know much about it but wouldnt it make sence to remove the little rocks so the water could get through ok.... and also so that the water doenst drag contaminents from the glue into the soil and feed it to the plant ? BUT if i am suposed to remove the rocks how do i do so without disturbing the the roots ?... anything else i should know ?

Hi there!
Yes you must remove the glued on rocks!
Pry them off any way you can, just dont take the roots out of the pot and damage them and you should be ok.
BTW do you have a picture of the tree? or know what species it is?
