Beautiful tree Al. Not so sure I like the lower right jin though. Just personal taste and a dumb beginners observation neither of which may be worth a hill of beans That pot is awesome! So is this; FOR SALE BY OWNER: Complete set of Encyclopedia Britannica. 45 volumes. Excellent condition. $1,000 or best offer. No longerneeded, got married last month. Wife knows everything. That there is funny!

I agree about the lower right jin. Removal of that would really clean up the overall appearance of this tree.

I really like that pot though! It is indeed a very nice container and suits the tree well IMO.

Nice work. Usually I wouldn't like the curves in the upper trunk (repeating S) but on this tree, maybe its the size, it works for me. The pot and stand clash in my eye though. Is that a Rayner pot?

WF

ps. I agree re: the jin.

Very cute. Did you pick this up from Jim Gremmel? It looks like his style.

Mr. Bob,

I believe you and anyone else that is interested in the history of this tree can learn more in this link...

Hi honey I'm home! and a juniper too!

Also this is a small flash back to the time Mr. Al treated us all to the honor of reading the thoughts of one called "Smoke"...

Mr. Al,

I really like the progress of this tree, and as I have already indicated to you, I sure do like your choice of pot and stand...Although this may not be one of your excellent stands, it certainly makes a very pleasant overall image with this pot and tree...Congratulations on another successful mame bonsai...

Regards
Behr

Al, I'm mostly a reader now on this site, but this tree has brought me out. I really like its progress. At first look, I felt the lower right jin was out of place but...as I continued to look at it, the whole movement seems to be right. If I cover the lower jin, the tree is still wonderful, but less than with the jin present. I admire your work ...but hey what do I know!
