Cool Mini Mini Black Pine

Hehe... I just did this for fun...However, this could possibly be a really small accent plant.

Where do you find pots that small?!

That would make a nice accent to another large black pine, maybe giving it a more prounounced effect on it's age and girth.

Looks cool, good luck watering with the eyedropper

Cool pots

It looks like he used a ceramic pot. I'm an workin a little bonsai like that and just carved my pot out of a peace of limestone with masonry drill bits and a grinder wheel. saved my lazy butt the pain of buying one!

My daughter has a porcelaine teaset with miniature cups and saucers etc. smaller than some seeds lol. Simple matter to drill a small hole in the bottom and remove the handles.

Are you serious here Old Mister Crow??

For me, its nice to pot up a little seedling pine, but this will still be a seedling. When it would be 1 cm in diameter and potted up in a 2-3 cm diameter pot, 1 cm high, than we're talkin.

Sorry but thats how I see it.

Never the less we all started one day......

Wessel

lol.... Wessel you are so cute... Carl's post is ancient... not sure he'll even notice this to respond.

I think maybe he liked the notion of something being potted up so small. I hope the tree was "up-potted" and given some better training.

Your friend,

Victrinia

Thumbs up

It's been nearly 6 years now, that pine might be looking pretty sweet.

Dead or alive, I would be curious to see what it would look like now... might actually have a trunk, and not look like a twig in dirt (:
