You can post any pictures of bonsai and suiseki related materials in any of the forum areas. If a post is better suited to another area it might be moved, but they are rarely, if ever, deleted.

The ***MUSEUM*** area is for show trees and stones, however.

Regards,

Matt

Thanks Treebay, so here goes
This is the first photo that i took a few days after pruning.Note, a few days, the silver birch is a fast grower! It was originally an 18 inch sapling that I was allowed to dig up from a park.i noticed an interesting kink in the lower trunk and so decided to chop it back hard and grow as mini bonsai.
hope this works!

a month later

Next the shoot grew quite long and I tied some string around the pot and bent the shott over, the string holding it in place.A few days later it was ok to remove it, the branch was set. Then this huge leaf came, a lot bigger than birch leaves normally get!

Hi Larry,

here is my comment:

If it was a pine tree, I would say, ..Wow...

As a birch, I think this tiny fellow is a little confused.

Final verdict: Cute.

Best wishes,
Attila
