Mame Japanese Black Pine

My first attempt at a mame, a Japanese black pine bunjin.

And for perspective:

Hey that's looking good!

How about turning the pot a little (clockwise from the top) so that the tree comes over the front corner just a little?

Regards,

Matt

Mame Japanese black pine

Very nice size, for a 1st attempt very good beginnings, but can I coax you into putting some slightly sharper angles in those curves?

Another thing for your mind's sake, please think more about the semicascade approach.

I'm new [today] to this Forum so I hope that you do not think that I am not speaking out of form. I have three rather small Pinus thunbergii, and shall be posting them, in a day or so.

Greetings to you....ozzerbon

Very nice mame. I agree with Ozzerbon about the more sharp curves, and maybe not so off to the side, what you have is looking more like a semi cascade (han-kengai) then a bunjin, still a very nice tree, but a different style.
