G'day Misspeled,

If you claim that your tree unlike your coin is real then please repost a pic of it, when you've repotted it into a mame sized pot. Then just say how tall the tree is in inches or cms or both, measuring from the pot's rim up to the apex of the tree.
Please do some of us the courtesey of dropping these unwanted sized references, such as coins, lighters or whatever.
Some Japanese quite often hold their small trees in the palm of their hands, which is equally annoying.

With much respect,
Nigel

PS,....I cannot even see the tiny tree, so I have not been able to comment on your efforts.

You're missing the entire point Nigel.

He played a joke. To those of us who know the size of a dime (theres been some discussion as to enlighten you...and a half-diligent search would help even more if you're so inclined) it was pretty neat.

Search for dime dimensions. Then realize this dime is fake. Have some fun.

This is ironic.

In USA still in use.
Now like Puerto Rico is a USA colony we have to know well the convertion factors because we use both. I really like the metric.

I give it an A+! I hope everyone figured out that this "Mercury Dime" rather than being the expected size of (a coin) was a reproduction that is 10x as large, like a teacup saucer!

Nigel, I thought it was an excellent joke, bonsai related, in particularly good humor. It seems to poke fun at people who rely on the use of objects like these for size comparisons, which I think is the whole point.

Regards,

Matt
