Little Juniper on 6 months training

Hello,

I thought I'd post a picture of my favorite little Juniper. My finance brought me this tree as a 1 gallon nursery acquisition about 6 months ago. I immediately chopped it to about 1/10th of it's original height and potted it in the pot you see now. I'm just working on keeping to pruned and plucked to increase the density of the canopy and encourage new shoots.

Questions, Comment, Gripes or Grievances all input is welcome.

Nice start. I would allow the leader to grow freely for a season or two and then cut back to a new apex. This will allow the chop to heal faster and give some taper/transition to the main trunk. Also did you use cut paste on the chop?

Do you mean "fiance" instead of "finance"
