Al, can you let that new, verdant lawn go dead so we can better appreciate your tree's foliage?
Just foolin' Matt

Hello,
I am rather new to this but have a question. I was curious about the vertical nature of your cascade. Is this a desireable feature? All of the pictures I have seen seem to have more of a slant to the decent than yours. I am going on book knowledge alone so I don't wish to imply that I am pointing out flaws wich I wouldn't begin to do. I am merely curious for clarification on this style. I personnaly like the look of it and enjoyed the step-by-step. Thanks

I have more strongly bent a trunk, and that it seems to straight lines. All the best to you. Success.

My only concern with this tree, Al, is the fishing-rod look to the bend in the trunk. There has to be a way to get a more natural feel to it. Have you tried bending it?

Nice sequence Al, the emphasis on needlework and twisting to reposition branches/branchlets where you want them is one of the things that is frequently overlooked in pine primers. John
