bonsaiTALK Hint: Did you know you can double click any bonsai term on this page for its definition?

Opinion Coto apple tree

Hello from Germany!
To continue this thread of mame I would like to present my smallest tree: a 5 cm cotoneaster - doesn´t it look like an apple tree?
I am not sure about the pot - in the second pic I just shortened the original one.
Now showing a virtual form without the two top branches to get the tree looking older . . .
What do you think about? And what about the self made "stand" made from an old root slide?

Thanks for your advice!

Hello from Ohio!
Nice little tree, Hanno.

I like the ideas in the virtual. The shallower pot works better along with the lower canopy.

The virtual works great for this tree along with a more shallow pot, oval im thinking but thats totally your choice, beautiful tree.

Fantastic little tree, I also agree that the virtual is an improvement to an already nice tree.

Is this a 'Striebs Findling' or 'Tom Thumb' cultivar by chance?
