where do you find these fantastic ashes? they are very beautiful indeed, the foliage is so bright and refreshing. may i ask what you have used as a top-dressing for the tree on the right? looks slightly furry.

i really like both these trese but i can see one flaw in the first picture the branch coming across from the front of the trunk. have you got a pic of the back and sides?they may be better for a future trunk.

what kind of ashes are these, are they an american Fraxinus? They sure look different to our ashes!

American ash on Mediterranean ?!? No, this is flowering ash or mana ash (fraxinus ornus).

Marija -- have these been worked on by sheep, humans, or both?
that first one is great -- i love the bark!
(although I agree the crossing branch is a drawback from this angle)

Alasdair, I didnt intervene in crown shape much, because I have colected them from wild last February. Here are pictures.

Great ash, good collecting, they look healthy and thriving! I am glad to hear that you are waiting to do any major pruning and/or styling until they have had a chance to become accustomed to pot culture. Too many people rush on collected plants.

oh thats the one that has those fluffy white flowers. Theres a few of them in parks and gardens around here.
