One other thing.... if you had been in the presence of this tree... you'd have been more than a little bit awed by it. I will confess to getting misty eyed for a moment when I was savoring it's recent restyle. This Hinoki is over 100 years old... and is the most magnificent example of this species I have seen. (It's going to get repotted to settle it into the pot more in the spring. And the carve work has only just begun, so it'll be refined by Daniel in the near future.)

Oh wow, no replies then a crapload of them
So then ... I insulate this tiny thing and take it out, just like that? No prep time? Making me very nervous ... It's a very tiny tree, can't I skip this winter?

Lacking any other way to transition it... yes. If it croaks... I'll send you a better tree. (and the one thing you'll find is that I don't joke when I say things like that)

I'm just that confident that it'll be fine as long as you protect from direct wind and insulate it.

LOL if it dies I want proof that it's dead.... cuz she aint kidding and that's money that goes to our trees.... lol...

it'll be fine fishbone..... and don't listen to Asus... Daniel's a great guy but we go shipping his trees off to people and well.... lets just say the trees will be getting some decent fertilizer and ya'll wont have to hear from us ne more :p
