Can I Have Some Help With What To Do With My Trees?

I'm headed off to college, so my ability to take care of my bonsais appropriately will be limited. I have a jade that should be ok inside, and a plant I believe is a norfolk pine that's been sunfried. (I basically acquired it from my mom since she goes on cactus watering schedule in winter and thinks she'll kill the thing) and I also have a crabapple sapling.
Would the crabapple be safe inside for the winter or should it experience the elements?

Thanks for the help. college is not the best time to get into this...

A sunny window that's not too hot should be perfect for the Norfolk Island Pine. My mom's had one indoors for years. The jade should survive provided it doesn't get overwatered. It may not get enough light for growth, but should limp along until spring. The crab is better off outside in most parts of the US - you might plant it in the ground since it's just a sapling.

I don't know where home is, but I understand Clarkson University is in New York?

How's the power?

Regards,

Matt

re

Thanks.
Clarkson University is in northern new york, and home is in Pennsylvania, pretty close to lake erie. And sounds like I'll leave the crabapple at home, just so it gets to do its deciduous thing in the appropriate conditions.
and our power's been fine. Erie was the only place in PA that I know of that got hit.
