I live in Portland, Ore. and I have a pomegranite. It is a lovely tree but I do not grow it as an inside tree. It stays in my tiny, little greenhouse over the winter. For indoors, I bring in my Japanese Plum over the winter but it is usually outside again when it flowers in the spring. How about bougainvillea? I have one of those and it continues to bloom throughout the winter when I bring it in............. And I do bring my azaleas inside when they are flowering, but only when they are flowering. I gave up on serissas long ago. I do love my little bougainvillea........
