New Addition

Hey All,

Here is a new addition to the family, a Kingman Ficus. I haven't decided on a front yet and thought I would get some opinions. I am still only about 2 years into the hobby, so I know that my wiring skills aren't superb, but I am working on them. It was recently defoliated and is budding really nicely.

Thanks for any input.

Jeff

Indeed Anttal. I think '26 is a great front, based on what I can tell from the images. more movement and that one root doesn't poke you in the eye as much.
How about some more info on the tree, where'd ya get it, how old is it, what size is it? That kinda stuff. Thanks for letting us see her all nakey!
Whoo-hoo, naked ficus! LOL

Sorry, I forgot to include that other information with my first post.
I got the tree at BonsaiWest in Littleton, MA. The tree is 16 inches tall from the top of the soil, branch diameter is 14 inches, and the trunk is just about 2 inches wide. I am not sure about the age of the tree. I wass so excited to find it, that I didn't think to ask about the age. I will probably bring it in to some workshops next year and we can figure it out, unless others can give me an educate guess.

I almost like it like this. The leaves are coming back and they are so tiny. Most of the leaves that are popping out are 1/3 of an inch or less in length. Let's see if they stay that way.
