Indoor tree ???
Chamaecyparis / Hinoki cypress are they kepet well indoors with the right amount of sunlight watering
or will my tree be better off outside in my cortyard ? Any help would be much apreshated thank you. Dean. |

Definately an OUTside tree, also hard to maintain, if not pinched and pruned correctly the foliage to the inside dies off and the foliage gets closer to the branch tips. These do not bud back on old wood, so what branches and foliage you have need to be properly maintained.

De nada!
Leave it outside permanently, Hinokis are very tough trees and can take just about anything except lack of water. If you let the roots get dry it will also die, no questions. It may not look dead right away, and in fact may look quite healthy for months. But it'll die. cheers |
