I've been on a bi-monthly feeding schedule for my trees. I've read it isn't wise to fertilize trees while they're in bloom. The problem is, my Serissa and Fukien Tea has flowers on them all the time!
Are these two trees the exception to the rule, or should I stop feeding them? Thanks for any info! ![]() |

You can't argue with success. I used to be more rigid on the subject. But what is working for you is... well working. keep it up.

Well, if success means that they're still alive, then I am successful. My serissa is down to just a few flowers now, and I haven't seen any new buds. There is leaf growth.

Personally I like a more diluled feed more often. I use fish emusion at 1/32 strength every watering, and apply fertilizer cakes(organic) every 6 weeks or so during the growing season.
There are a million stories about fertilizer in the big city, we each must choose our own and apply as we see fit....Edwardorino Just do it Check out...http://forum.bonsaitalk.com/showthr...ight=cottonseed
