All those interested in Dwarf Scheff - "Hawaiin Umbrella Tree"
Just wanted to see who grows these plants. I am attempting to specialize in these guys as they are the perfect indoor bonsai. Just wanted to get some info, tips, networking, etc from others who enjoy the scheff. Post here or send me a message!

I have a several years old forest and an individual specimen of "Luseanne" which have done well. Even put out arial roots. And every year I just top dress with regular old potting soil with a little added sand.I don't recall that I have ever completely repotted the forest. Probably should, but the thing is thriving.
I prune leaves and trim back branches in the hottest part of the summer. Some of the trees in the forest developed from cuttings taken this way.
