Seedling Where to get good bonsai material in Los Angeles?

For you who live in the Los Angeles area, where do you go to get good bonsai material? I only know of one nursery specialized in bonsai on Sawtelle Blvd called Yamaguchi, but it almost only sells fully trained bonsais. I am looking for material to work with myself. I have a few favorite nurseries that I go to, but I rarely find anything that is suitable for bonsai training (I am a beginner so maybe I don’t see what’s good). And also, would you recommend Osh, Anawalt, Home Depot and those kinds of places?

Thank you,
Robin

Ah, there are a lot of places around here. That's what I love about LA! It is really unfriendly for tourists and new people, but after 5 years or so you're starting to find gems all over. It is so hard to see these places from the freeways or even the surface streets. Thank you all for your help!
