Wanted: Minnesota Bonsai Nursery

I'm getting back in after a while on the sidelines. Any Bonsai nurseries in Minnesota? Or Bonsai practitioners with too many trees? Let me know. Thanks, Tim

Hi Tim,

Welcome!! (and welcome back!).

I live north of Duluth, there is a great nurseryin Duluth that with my insistance and assistance over the years has become a premier nursery for great bonsai and pre-bonsai stock. Check out:

Edelweiss Nursery

Also there is

BMK Bonsai (west of North Branch) (by appt off season)

Five Stone Garden Bonsai Nursery and Studio (by appointment)
in Prior Lake Minnesota

Como Park Conservatory (has new name now) has a bonsai garden (year round)

Alan Kvasnik greencanvas@yahoo.com does bonsai design and leasing, and often has bonsai for sale.

Good Luck!! and feel free to pm or email me if ya have any other questions!!

Paul

Also get in touch with the Minnesota Bonsai society, they have an annual spring auction where many bargains are had (beautiful bonsai for not so much $).
