Agreed, best service I have ever had. I still owe him for things that he let me have in advance because I didn't have the money, he's in the process of sending the rest with the invoice for what I owe. Such a great guy. I hope to be visiting his nursery this summer.

Without sounding like we are all pandering to Tom at Shady Side, he is one nice easy going guy to do business with. I had some questions about ground growing and he invited out to his recently relocated nursery.
He spent about 2 hours fielding all kinds of questions and telling us some stories. There entirely too many good things about his setup and experience to take up in one visit - need to go back there again once things calm down here at home. Also - he moved to Glen Rock, PA from his place in Annapolis. While he's just getting setup, his new spot has some great potential. There were only a fraction of his stock there but the rest is due to come up from Annapolis sometime soon. Greenhouses and coldframes are in the future plans as well. Anywho, drop him a PM at tachigi or check out his website at www.shadysidebonsai.com Tom, next time I come over expect that case of Heineken. And don't worry, it wont be a full case. I fully anticipate on drinking one or two before I leave. -EK
