Pumice Source
Does anyone know a source of crushed pumice in the Dallas/Fort Worth area? I used to purchase 30lbs bags from a bonsai shop; however, it closed. Now the only place I can find it is a “greenhouse & garden” catalog and the price is just outrageous. I have called California Lightweight Punice; however they are just producers and wholesalers. Their minimum order would last several life times. Thank you. |

It wouldn't be a bad idea, if you belong to a club ask some members and friends to go in with you on a ton, or if you have the space and are entrepreneurial you could buy the smallest quantity and sell smaller quanties locally

You might try dry-stall. It is a pumice used for horse stalls. It is pumice, bagged and ready-- sold at feed stores. I think they have gone nation wide with it
