Japanese Black Pine

I am new to BonsaiTalk and really don’t know enough to join in yet. I was only introduced to bonsai about 2 years ago. My one passion now is Japanese black pine. I can grow them, however, I don’t know much about styling them. I have numerous resource guides but I am so new that I can’t visualize the future tree and need help. Can you recommend someone in the Dallas/Ft.Worth, Texas area who teaches classes or does styling work for a fee. Your advice would be much appreciated.

I'd attend the Dallas Bonsai Club meeting- the best way to hook up with national talent. Howard Smith lives in Dallas, occasionally visits this board and can probably help.

Shane Carey gives classes here in the DFW area, and yeah it would be in your best interest to come to the BSD meetings. You can PM me if you would like addittional info.
