Welcom bverdun.

No one here can guess where you live, so if you want a meaningful response, you need to tell us. Meaningful subject titles help a lot too. "Help" is not very descriptive, so I will change yours.

Regards,

Matt

Thanks for the tip.

I am from Gray La. The city is located in the bayou country of La, west south west of New Orleans La. We basicly have a subtropical climate. Plenty of rain and mild winters. If there is anything else I should mention let me know.

Thumbs up

Excellent source & selection of seedlings that are raised / trimmed for bonsai - www.evergreengardenworks.com. Brent also has great informational articles on that site & often chimes in helpfully on this site. Tools - our own Treebay's site - www.treebay.com. Generic pots (as opposed to artistic 'one of's that you'll find via potters posting here), tools, etc. - www.bonsaimonk.com Same (but pricey) and add magazine (Bonsai Today - recommended) & books - www.stonelantern.com

That'll get you started....

Usual disclaimer - no commercial connection other than Happy Customer.

I've wanted to get into Bonsai for some time and have recently decided to grow some Pre bonsai material. I have a small landscaping nursery business. We specialize in plant health care and products. Honestly I would like any seed available to get started with. I am sure as time goes on and I do researh, I will not only know more of what I want but what I don't want.
