FYI -Brussels Bonsai
I am in no way endorsing or encouraging anybody to use Brussels. However, they are offering free shipping during September so some of you that have wondered about good soil and some of the stuff that weighs a ton could buy it at reasonable prices. Shipping would usually double the cost of stuff like that. Even trees...when I've had them shipped the shipping is often as much as the tree. Their web site is www.brusselsbonsai.com.

You may find that free shipping does not apply to soil, simply because it is so heavy! On that note, I have not found Brussel's soil to be free-draining enough, it seems to be too fine for most trees.
