Free Trees And Plants

Here is a website that offers free trees and plants. The purpose of it is to keep disabled workers busy. There is a $6.95 fee that covers shipping, handling and their expenses for each unit.
At least it is for a good cause, from what I can see. Just thought it may be of interest to a few people.

Nice site! Red Maples, Ginkgo and, especially, Washington Hawthorne are great species for bonsai and available here.

I just read this on the site.

" P.S. If you aren't satisfied with your free plants in the first 60 days, we will replace them without further shipping and processing. "

That is a pretty good deal on top of helping people. If you read into the site a little more, I think you will appreciate what they are trying to do a little bit more.

They're sold out of stuff to send for the fall...

How'd you find out what they have available?

Halloween Pumpkin

If you click on what type of plant you want the new window will tell you what is avalible.I bet if you emailed them they could give you a complete list.

You guys will have better luck with the NationalArborDay site this year.My shipment is to set sail in about 2-3 weeks, and I could pick from like 200 tree types.I can't wait to get the dogwoods and my first pine aswell.
