Frank's Nursery Going Out Of Business

For those of you who shop at a Frank's in your area for some of your bonsai and gardening needs, you may not have heard that the company has filed chapter 11. They have hired an outside liquidation company to handle the liquidation of their store inventories, and preparation has already begun for the liquidation.

Word has it that liquidation will begin September 19th. They will also be selling their fixturing, shelving, tables, etc. so this may be a good opportunity for some of you to purchase some professional quality growing tables near where you live.

I for one am very sad to see Frank's close, as I shopped with them often and found their supplies to be very useful. There are a couple of Frank's locations near me, and I will be one of the vultures keeping an eye out for bargains to be found there.

I thought that you should all know, because someone is going to buy their liquidation stuff, I figure it might as well be bonsai folks.

Most of the corporate staff has already been terminated at Franks, and employees are out putting in applications and resumes with other companies in an attempt to find other work.

what city/state is franks in? any chance there is an adress to look at directions on the net? I am not even sure it is near me but it sounds like it may be worth a drive?
