Design services for businesses

Hey, just letting everyone know that I am offering design services for businesses. At the moment services are somewhat limited to only simple banner ads (no animation ,yet), Website header images, business card design, and logo creation. The prices are $50.00 per image or you can get a package of website header, banner, and a business card design all for $125.00, but logo design will always be the same $50.00, as this can be somewhat more involved.
All rights will be given to the client, so that images can be used wherever, whenever the client sees fit.
For images of some of the work that I have done please PM me here on the site.
After I get permission from Brian an image will be included, which is the latest image that I have worked on (a banner ad for BrianBay9 @ Kuma Bonsai), to be posted on this site.
Thanks, Jeremy M.C.

With all due respect Bruce your comment was not very nice. If you want to fish for business take the initiative like Zen has done and post a thread soliciting your design services. Knocking the competition on his thread doesn't elevate you. Lets all be nice, it's a small community after all.

Zen is a great person, met him and his family at the Carolina Bonsai Expo. Would love to send him work if for no other reason than he is motivated and a genuine person. At this point I can recommend him just based on that.

Perhaps we will meet one day so I can form an opinion on you as well.

Thank you ever so much for the kind words Graydon, if you ever need anything in the way of design, just let me know, we can work something out, perhaps we can do some trading for one of those outstanding turntables that you make.
As for serious designers wanting my business, bring them to the site or have them email me and I will be happy to do some work for them, however the prices will be the same, although i'm pretty sure that this is not you mean. LOL

Here is the image that I got permission from Brian to use. It is the banner ad that I did for him, and Cindy over at Kuma Bonsai, San Diego County CA.
Thanks again for the permission Brian.

Zen, I have to agree, that was a nice banner ad for Brian. Don't know anyone needing any design work right now, but will keep you in mind!

Well this thread is outside of my control, but please do not personalise this issue with regard to other sites or work.

I agree that it is a thin line of advertising, but I believe Jeremy (Zens) initial post was never any threat to a professional in the same line of work. As can be seen here, he has helped a fellow Bonsai enthusiast and member.

In any case, the likely exposure in Bonsai Circles here for a Graphic Artist is small, a bit like advertsing your services as a Plumber or an Electricain, when your possible clients are States / Countries away.

The service is more interlectural in nature, so yes, transfers to the Web well -but far greater advertsiing can be gained in many other areas.

Now, if we see blatant adds for Mass market products such as Washing Machines and Vacuums - we will certainly take a different approach.

Regards,
Ian.

Thanks Ian, I wasn't really sure if this would cross that line, but I really am trying to focus my enrgies on members here at BT,...I haven't even offered services at other sites. Though I have thought of it, just to get a bit more stuff to keep me busy.
