All,
I am not familiar with the full details of this matter, but the admin of bT have been in contact with CHEF for clarification, since certain members here obviously have issues that need to be sorted. It would be in his interest to sort this privately by e-mail or PM's with those affected. We need to give him the benefit of the doubt for now, while at the same time, look after the interests of other members and the wider Bonsai community. This thread will be monitored to see how things develop and should any further action be needed in light of subsequent postings, we will take appropriate action. Regards, Ian |

YOU CAN NOT RUSH TIME
|
Mods,
It was mentioned that it was a thought to move this to the 'vendor' section of the site. I feel it might be a good idea. Lets face it we are turning this into a 'he said she said type thread'. AND.... no matter how many fall on either side of the argument we may not for sure know the full and total truth. This is said by someone who falls squarely on one side of the issue. Jay

I would personally like to offer my services to chef and anyone else out there who would like to verify objective facts in the case. I live in the Kansas City area and have contacted Chef in the past to attempt to a)perhaps find some decent bonsai stock or b) put the lie to his (apparently) overblown ads. Who is this Master? No one I know in Kansas City!
Have you actually lost trees? Being secretive certainly won't help your case any. Contact me chef, everyone in the world knows me by now and you apparently don't have many more trees to lose. |

Forget about the end of the month, I wouldn't even wait until tomorrow if I was you.

It may already be too late, especially if you paid by Paypal, they have a 45 day cutoff for resolutions. I learned that the hard way with some books from Japan, though my seller was very honest and made good on the transaction.
It's not too late for small claims court. I would have pursued this against CHEFDAVE also if the UPS store my grower used didn't finally accept responsibility for the shipping error. Still, would have been nice to have my Katsura maple and not see something suspiciously similar up on ebay a year later. It would have been lovely this spring. |

Oh Boy!

Also you did not refute the you begged him for a tree he didn't want to give up, to put in your personal collection, then you sell at good profit. again not looking good for your defense. Folks he's, trying to learn bonsai, and growing for sale, and selling pieces from masters, this doesn't make a good recipe to me, and doesn't allow for the "I am a newbie" excuse thrown out above either. Too much coincidental evedence against you Dave, as above you need personal contact with your victims( you aren't the only one, and it's not fair to pass your problems to others), it's the right thing to do. It's been said before, but you will get more credance if you actually typed with some normalcy, ie. take off the cap loc's, and use a comma, and period every now and then, screaming at us all the time wins no friends. |
