I Have Never Had A Problem Other Then A Couple Were Dameged In The Begining From Bad Packing I Was Only Doing It Because I Had A Conection From A Very Well Known Bonsai Master... And I Wanted To Bring Some Of These Trees To Other People To Enjoy!!!! Not To Rip Any One Off,i Also Think That I Have Acomplished Bringing Some Realy Nice Trees To People Who Other Wise My Be Buying Some Of The Junk That People Call Bonsai.i Have Never Ripped Any One Off And Will Never Rip Any One Off!!!!! I Lost Alot Of Trees And Money As Well As Alot Of People Iam Working With Ebay And My Home Owners Insuranse To Get The Problem Reseloved As Quick As Possible
..
These Things Take Time !!!!there Is Maybe 2000.00 Worh Of Property That Was Not Delieverd It Will Be Taken Care Of.and Maybe It Was A Mistake To Try And Sell Great Trees To People And It Evently Came To One Of These People Stealing My Collection.so I As Well Lost Maybe 20,000 Worth Of Trees That Can Not Be Replaced So I Took The Biggest Loss.iam Working To Fix This Problem As Quick As I Can But Iam Not A Mircial Worker And Iam No Thief..chef

Chef...why can't you return the money that was paid for these trees. If you received the money I 'assume' you would immediately ship the trees. If they paid and you do not have the trees ... return the money.

The way to prove you are honest is to repay NOW.... not when... and if... you're home owners returns the money to you.

Step up and do the right thing.....

Also.....DID YOU SHIL (or have someone shil) YOUR OWN AUCTIONS?

I had a trident stump that I sold Chef for $200...it was far under market value but he begged and begged and seemed like a nice guy to sell a tree to...plus I wasn't loosing any money on the tree just not making a whole lot. I told him the tree was 22 years old, which it was as I knew for a fact because I bought it directly from the grower in the Atlanta area who grew them from seed himself(someone else dug the tree up). A few weeks later the tree showed up on Ebay for sale by Chef as a 35-40 year old trident maple at an asking price of $350.

Last time I checked, that wasn't taking a loss.

there is nothing wrong with buying and reselling for a higher price, its the american free enterprise system. However, when you beg someone for something and promise to keep it as a personal tree then for it to be on ebay a few weeks later for nearly double, you start loosing friends in the bonsai community quickly.

Ahem...

Gentlemen.

This is not really the place to air your grievances. Maybe Vendor Feedback would be more appropriate. Better still, these qualms should be sorted out privately with the vendor in question.

The allegations being made here may or may not be based in fact, but the nett outcome is that this thread has degenerated into a shouting match. Anybody who has spent any time here knows how we feel about shouting matches.

Thanks.

Fly.

I disagree somewhat, Fly. Doesn't it seem that this is the best way to learn about how these things happen. I prefer 'straight from the horses mouth' over second-hand gossip.

Chef,
Did you ever think that you may want to deliver what you promised before you spent someone else's money. It's not yours until the transaction is complete from what I remember about business law.

Good luck...
