Bamboo suppliers?
I want to start a bamboo forest landscape. Do any of you know where I can get small(3-4 inch) growth bamboo or seeds. I tried locally and they seem to think all bamboo is tropical, which is not true. I tried the Bamboo Society of America, but all their suppliers have larger plant than I want. Thanks for any help.

Bamboo grows from rizomes, I don't think you'll ever find one small enough to fit a 4" pot except very small gounnd cover kind. ( Sasa) And they throw seed every 60-100 years typically. Did you try ABS for seed?
Try this one: http://www.bamboodirect.com/bamboo/about/ I notice they sell recently germinated seedlings. |
