bonsaiTALK Hint: Did you know you can double click any bonsai term on this page for its definition?

Accent Plants

I enjoy using accent plants, particularly minature hostas, to complement my bonsai collection. Can anyone recommend some mail order sources of accent plants? Once again, my primary interest are minature hostas. Most of the ones I have been able to find have been on ebay.

Best Wishes,

Mel Lewis

Bali-Hai Nursery in Northern Ireland has been good to me for Mini Hosta's. I believe the site is http://www.mailorderplants4me.com/uk/main.html

Mel,

I haven't bought many accent plants via mail order, but many of the locally available ones have come from Miniature Plant Kingdom, which I believe does do mail order: http://www.miniplantkingdom.com/

Best regards,
Carl

I bought some from Julian Adams in Virginia...I bought them from him in person but I'm sure you could work out a mail order.
