Depends on what you're willing to pay...Personally, I have most of the complete set of BT. I got them from various places--primarily from subscription over 15 years. I rarely refer back to them and didn't really learn all that much from them. Learned much more from private lessons. You could take a number of private lessons for the $500 or so the entire set of BT usually goes for on Ebay. You would learn vastly more in the lessons.

Is this an ad? It walks like an ad... it talks like an ad. It quacks like an ad.

IT'S AN AD!

There is a classifieds section provided for ads. Please don't place them in the general forum!

Regards

Matt

Rock,

That is such an interesting reply. I have had the complete and opposite experience. I have learned much more from Bonsai today over the same 15 years. I have had multitudes of lessons with the "names " in bonsai. But the ability to see what the masters from Japan are doing has been super valuable.

Maybe the difference is that I pour over the magazines and continue to refer to them and read them each night before bed. There is so much in there I find new info as my ability improves.

roboku,

I am happy for your find. I'll give 20 bucks each for #3 or 4. I have the rest.Good luck!

Please don't be ridiculous! This thread is closed. I should have closed it earlier.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
If you'd care to communicate with Roboku about his "non-ad" and would like to provide suggested pricing for hypothetical issues that might possibly be for sale but aren't, you can click PM and let him know what they might be worth if they were available for sale (but they're not).

Regards,

Matt
