Wanted Cork Elm & Cork Oak stock

Hi,
I would like to pick up some cork elm and cork oak stock if anyone has some. Would be looking to make it into a broom style, so maybe even a half finshed one. Let me know what you have and send me an email please.
Thanks

Hi Troy, BonsaiFL, if you are one & the same, next time it very well may go better. There isn't any way to email a guest. The server asks for that information so it can notify the guest of replies to the thread.

P.S. I have a 90 Miata, but mine ain't so quick. It's been languishing in the driveway with a perpetually dying battery.

Regards,

Matt

Matt,
I am both BonsaiFL and Troy, I didnt realize I wasnt logged in the day I made the post and could not figure out how to log in for a while there.
Hate to hear that your miata is dying there. I have a 90 also and it's OEM battery went in 99. So, I guess you got a little more life out of yours The only reason mine is quick is because I put a supercharger on the car and boy does it make a differance!
In any case I did find some cork elm seedlings bonsainut. Only bad thing Is I did not mark the website. I do remember they wanted $4.50 a seedling. I guess thats going rate for seedlings. Once I find the site again I will get it posted here for ya.

One more thing I noticed, That may be true that the server can not notify me (nor do I want it to I have enought spam, junk mail as it is) but I did leave my email in hopes that someone might email me. And if not I would always check back sense this is the only decent bonsai fourm around.

I guess I should call my self the bonsai web hunting nut!

Re: Wanted Cork Elm & Cork Oak stock

Ok, it's been 3 months but hay I was busy over the holidays! Well, guess what.... I found a site that still has cork elm in stock!!!! After about 3 sites that I found were listed as having some and then I would call and nothing I finally found a nursery that still has some $4.50 a pop on the 2 3/4" pots
Check it out I got mine already shipping is kind of costly but live with it!
