well, I guess infamous would be a better word.
 Google and Yahoo have this board ranked #1 for the phrase "dying bonsai" kind of a dubious distinction, isn't it? ;  Regards, Matt

Admitting the obvious....Bonsai can Die! Wow...are we that near the truth?
We talk about everthing... and yes we do have death with us. I hope in very very small numbers. Hopefully we learn from our mistakes! J

Actually Al, now that you mention it, we are #1 on Google/Yahoofor the term "mallsai", too. I have a feeling that may be going away soon because the mallsai board was closed when the contest ended, so the link is broken.
However, the TreeBay Gallery has a strong position at #2 on the mallsai front, and is an odds-on favorite to move into top "mallsai" position. On MSN search, TreeBay has the distinction of being #1 in mallsai, whereas our alter-ego "bonsaipage" has positions 2 & 3. My life goes a lot like this...

Yea but no one can take that rotating picture thingy of all the beautiful shohin trees away. I really love that. I just wish you could work Jim Gremel's yamadori style tree in there. Do you need to get his permission, or is he the "I'm flattered" type.
